Port Vale V Sheff Utd - view commentary, squad, and statistics of the game live.Lines straight back in for ValeChris Lines comes back into the reckoning for Port Vale when Sheffield United visit Vale Park.Lines has served a three-match suspension and his return could prove a timely one, with Michael O'Connor a possible concern ahead of the Boxing Day clash

O'Connor was forced off injured late on in the win at Crawley last weekend

If he misses out against the Blades, Lines will take his place in central midfield.Colin Daniel could return to the squad after the left-sided player missed the trip to Crawley through illness, but left-back Ryan McGivern will be out for up to six weeks after he had a plate fitted in his fractured arm.Dany N'Guessan's short-term contract expired after the Crawley game but Vale have agreed a new deal with the striker to keep him at the club until June 2015, and he should keep his place in the starting line up.Sheffield United midfielder Ryan Flynn is struggling to shake off the hamstring injury which forced him out of last week's home draw against Walsall.Flynn has recently been operating at right-back and although Craig Alcock (back) has returned to training he is also doubtful to feature, meaning teenager Harrison McGahey could return to the starting line-up.Boss Nigel Clough must decide whether to recall on-loan Paddy McCarthy to his starting XI, while Ben Davies (foot) and James Wallace (groin/hamstring) remain sidelined.Striker Marc McNulty is pushing for a recall alongside Chris O'Grady and midfielder Florent Cuvelier is hoping to make his first league start of the season
