Vale To Appeal Smith Red Card

Smith was sent-off at Saltergate when he was deemed to be the last man when bringing down Chesterfield forward Tcham N'Toya.

Vale boss Martin Foyle is to appeal the decision claiming that Craig James was well positioned to tackle N'Toya had he not been brought down by Smith.
