"His contract is up at Bristol and he has decided to join us and have a little look at the set-up to see how we work," Foyle told the clubs official website.
"At the moment it's not a trial - it's a case of whether he likes the place, likes the supporters and so on.
"He's going to play in a couple of games for us to see how it goes and we will take the situation from there.
"He hasn't put pen to paper because obviously Mickey has got other options, but he has come here to have a good look at us and hopefully we can warm to him and he can warm to us.
"Hopefully he will become a good addition to the squad and then I will be delighted with what I have got."
