Foyle Slams Poor Defending

Foyle admitted that poor defending had been the reason why the home side found themselves four goals to the good within 28 minutes of the game at Ashton Gate.

"We were guilty of sloppy defending and the players concerned had to hold their hands up," he said.

"You don't come back from 4-0 down. We played well after that and City showed us respect by putting five in midfield during the second half, but the damage was done.

"It was a mad 20 minutes for us. Yet if we had grabbed a third goal in reply it would have really put them under pressure."
