It's bottom v top as Swans come to town

Vale's League 1 status is looking bleak with an 11 point gap to the first safe place. It's that bad that Vale are below two teams who have both had 10 points deducted.

Swansea are 8 points clear at the top and have accrued nearly three times as many points as Vale.

Krystian Pearce and Toby Mikaelsson are to miss Port Vale's game with leaders Swansea City at Vale Park on Saturday.

Dave Mulligan or Chris Slater will replace the suspended Pearce while on-loan Aston Villa striker Mikaelsson has returned to Villa Park with an ankle injury.

Swansea's Ferrie Bodde should be fit to face League One's bottom club after shrugging off a knee injury.

Alan Tate will continue in defence for Dennis Lawrence (knee) while Darren Way could be in line for a return.
