Smith Signs For Vale

The 33-year-old centre-half, who has also played at at Walsall, Leyton Orient and Hereford, has signed a one year contract at Vale Park.

"He is an organiser and will be a great asset with all the younger players we have," Vale boss Martin Foyle told the clubs official website.

"I am overjoyed at getting a committed player such as Dean who has vast experience".
